Long-time local attorney and resident Joe Hamilton is the founding partner of Hamilton & Associates. Joe graduated from Central Missouri University in 1966 with a degree in Physics. There, he was President of Theta Chi fraternity. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1969, where he led the National Moot Court Competition Team.
Accident victims often use Joe’s services because of his long-time familiarity and success. These factors have led to Joe being named as a top attorney in the area. Joe’s civil practice consists of representing victims in many areas of the law.
Over the course of his career, Joe has participated in hundreds of jury trials and as a prosecutor, Mr. Hamilton imprisoned and gained the death sentence for some of Missouri’s most infamous criminals.
Mr. Hamilton has been an injury and criminal trial lawyer since 1969.

Trial lawyer Matt Hamilton graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1995 with Science degrees in Logistics, Marketing, and Business Administration.
At Mizzou, Matt served in dozens of leadership positions, including:

- Seven-time Executive of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

Personal Accomplishments
Matt Hamilton is a married father of three children.
Matt became a professional skier based out of Vail, Colorado after university. Hamilton left his competitive skiing days behind him and achieved his Juris Doctor. He then took up the sports of ice climbing and mountaineering.
Extreme sports became impractical after he became a father. Hamilton went back to his roots as a track and field (athletics) sprinter.
Matt Hamilton is a 2022 member of Team USA. Hamilton is the current and an eleven time USA track and field national champion.
He is most accomplished as a mid distance sprinter and hurdler. However, he competes in many events, including the 100M sprint, 400M sprint, 16 lb Hammer Throw, 35lb Weight Throw, Discus, Javelin, High Jump, Long Jump, 110M Hurdles, 400M Hurdles, 4-100M relay, and 4x400M relay.

Mark Klinkenberg is a veteran, having served six years in the United States Navy as a nuclear-trained electronics technician, working as a nuclear reactor operator onboard a fast-attack submarine and as a nuclear repair operator onboard a submarine tender. He then spent three years in the Missouri Army National Guard as a sergeant in administration.
Mark graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a minor in Finance.
Mark received his law degree, a Juris Doctor with distinction, from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 1999. In 2000, he received a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with distinction. He received a number of awards during law school and upon graduation, including:
- Business Editor of the UMKC Law Review.
- Staff member of the Urban Lawyer.
- Treasurer of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.
